The latest technology
Utilising state of the art equipment, with the latest technology to install ducts, pipes and cables without the need of using traditional trenching methods
Directional Drilling
We are pleased to offer our customers specialist Directional Drilling, even where space is limited, thanks to our compact drilling rigs, whether via our specialist pit launch drill or our compact, yet powerful surface launch drill, capable of unbroken shots up 150m in length, ground conditions permitting. As well as being able to carry out larger projects over many hundreds of meters, no job is too small for us, and we are able to install pipes and ducts with our compact drill on many domestic sites despite space constraints. We can even safely drill beneath houses, rivers, brooks, roadways and railways.
This is ideal for installing utilities under obstacles where you cannot trench, such as under roadways, rivers or whatever obstacle you may be trying to overcome. With this technology, we are able to install utilities up to 12” in diameter, over long distances.
With the steering head capabilities, we can even navigate around other obstacles that are already buried underground, such as existing utilities (ie Water, Drainage, Gas, Electricity, Telecoms).
Please give our friendly, experienced office a call and we would be happy to talk through your requirements and guide you as to the best type of machine and approach required for your specific job needs.
Impact Moling
By utilising specialist moling equipment, we can install/replace your water supply pipe without the need for unsightly, disruptive and costly open cut trenches. We have a variety of different size moles to suit your supply pipe size requirements. We can also utilise moling to provide bore holes for other services and ducts.
An impact mole is an air-driven device which is launched from a small pit (usually 2.5ft x 1 ft), which punches its way through the ground to a receiving pit enabling new water mains piping to be installed. The soil is compacted outwards to create a smooth, almost glazed, bore which allows the water pipes to be installed quickly, without an unsightly trench. Apart from the small launch/receive pits, there is very little disruption and no visible piping!
Moling can create a bore under most surfaces or obstacles, lawns, hedges driveways, roads, ditches etc and can be used to install various pipes, cables or ducting.
